Dave, it's been over 2 years now since you left us and a chat with a mutual friend on Facebook triggered memories, which is why I'm here...Remember C.J. Guess? Well, she's Christel W. Townsend now, and she said she used to chat with you via cellphone! Of course, we all knew each other way back in the DpReview days, when you, Mr. Zoom, Gil, John Reed, Bob Malbon, et al were reveling in the glories of the Fluzis and Tizzys. Well, CJ re-found the post at Fred Miranda when we were aware of how ill you were, and where we all honored your memory, and talents, with a few good laughs (your National Geocraphic covers, thanks for mine, buddy!) and a lot of sadness. But in the end I feel good that my life was enriched by knowing you, and being able to share our mutual love of photoraphy and birds. Well, I miss you, Dave, but I know that you and Lou Buscher are now filling memory cards up there, and hopefully looking down on a few Bald Eagle spots -- and your famous Greenie swamp.
